NEW & USED ECU REPLACEMENT FOR BMW & MINI
My mechanic/dealership says that you can’t reprogram, re-code, or swap a used BMW ECU between cars. Can you help me?

Here at BMW Specialist Nottingham we specialise in coding New and USED Ecu’s to work on your BMW.
We provide a unique service where we can extract the ISN (security code) from you vehicles CAS, FEM, EGS, DME or DDE(ecu) units.(these are different modules that are fitted to your car,dependant on model)
By being able to extract the ISN from the DME/DDE/ECU we can then match the ISN in the CAS or FEM. This will allow the car to start. We then program the ecu to it’s correct flash and your car is ready to go.
This Service is available on E and F Series BMW’s & Mini Models
- Read and Write ISN for CAS1, CAS2, CAS3 and CAS3+ (2 bytes ISN, 4 digits).
- Read and Write SK (ISN 128 bits, 32 digits) for CAS1, CAS2, CAS3 and CAS3+.
- Read all DME ISN for E series (2 bytes ISN, 4 digits).
- Read all DME SK (ISN 128 bits, 32 digits) except MSS65 in E series
- Read most DDE ISN (2 bytes ISN, 4 digits) in E series (2003-2006).
- Read and Write All DDE SK (ISN 128 bits, 32 digits) in E series (2006 and up).
- Read ISN for EGS 6HP in E Series, and matching with CAS.
- Read and Write BMW ISN for most of BOSCH DMEs in F series.
We are always developing new solutions for BMW & Mini Ecu’s so if your Ecu or Model is not listed we may still be able to help.
If you cannot get your car to us for what ever reason we offer a postal service. You will need to send us your Original ECU, CAS or FEM unit and Key. If you are supplying a matching unit please confirm that it is compatible. We also hold a stock of used ECU’s if you cannot find what you need, we may have it in stock.
Please note when sending Parts:
- They need to be ‘signed for’
- We need Your Car Details including Registration
- We need Your Contact Details including telephone & email address
- Parts need to be packaged well to avoid damages
